OctoMY™ Birth Certificate

In a previous post I pondered if I should have robots be mortal/immortal or let the user choose. In the end I decided to let all robots be immortal, as "forcing" a robot to be mortal would be an artificial barrier at best. Clever OctoMY™ users would be able to "resurrect" their robots simply by performing a low-level copy anyways.

Instead of inviting a fight that is impossible to win, I decided to just ignore the implied fate of OctoMY™ robots by saying "if you are deleted you are no more, if you are copied you will live, and the copying happens at the mercy of your owner's skills".
